Water will also help balance the pH in your mouth to lessen the chance of cavities. Drinking plenty of water is one of the best ways to lose weight, lighten a mood, and it’s easy on the wallet. Step 4: Last and certainly not least, schedule your 6 month checkup and cleaning. Visiting the dentist is the best way to check for gum disease, cavities, oral cancer and any other oral problem.
